I have topics, I have ideas that I truly want to discuss but this time, I am what every writer fears- simply, blank.

But it’s all okay because being blank doesn’t necessarily mean you have lost all of your creative juices. (And if indeed you have, then all you have to do is check out my beloved Pinterest.) Drawing a blank means you’re part human. (Or whole human. I’ve never actually met any of my fan club so I am not sure what you are…)

I feel this pressure (it’s called a deadline) to write something absolutely profound but I got nothin’! Except to accept that I am currently lacking in the articulate word department and profound is just not going to happen.

However, I don’t know if I have ever written anything profound so why do I expect it in a Newsfeed of all things? (I mean no offense to Newsfeedgers, I kind of am one, and a blank one at that.) I just mean if I am going to say something profound I want it to be profitable. Or life-changing. You know, those kind of small expectations.

So, I am putting my pencil down tonight and hope that the words return to their rightful owner sometime in the near future. And… I managed to write an entire Newsfeed on being blank…Just think what my Newsfeed will look like when it’s profound!
