Below is a guest post by Lauren Fowler of Durham Sustain Ability about an event taking place in Pickering this November:

Durham Partners in Project Green (DPPG), a program run through Durham Sustain Ability (DSA), provides the support and tools required to guide businesses on their path to sustainability. DPPG supports their business members by helping to develop the business case for sustainability, track their emissions and set reduction targets, access incentives to support sustainability projects, celebrate member success and more!

On November 7th 2017, DPPG is hosting an Energy and Innovation breakfast event with the City of Pickering. This event is relevant to businesses both small and large, who are interested in learning more about the opportunities available to reduce their environmental impact, save money, avoid risk and be leaders in their industry. After all, businesses are realizing that innovating for sustainability is more than a nice to do – it makes financial sense.
