Applewood Farm Winery first opened it’s doors in Stouffville in September of 2000. For the last 20 years, the winery has had a warm and comfortable atmosphere.  What started out as two young kids with an idea, has blossomed into a reality.  They offer a large tasting bar where you can sample award winning wine and chat with Matt, the wine maker.  The new farm and winery will offer the same friendly experience, with the same friendly faces, in a fresh new space.

They offer a delicious selection of fruit wines made from the fruit that is harvested right on our farm, as well as some grown by other local producers. In addition to their wine list,  they also have an assortment of Ciders and Meades. You can also browse through a collection of jams, jellies, honey, and more. Gift baskets are available for any occasion or holiday.  Stop by the tasting bar and indulge in a sample of something new.

Spring begins with Strawberry and Mulberry picking in mid-June to mid-July. The fall brings pumpkins and squash and farm fun.  During the picking season there are wagon rides, a children’s playground, giant corn maze, and room for the whole family to run. They also offer pick your own strawberries in June, and then mulberries right after. Fresh garlic, honey and other tasty jams and jellies are available all season long.

So whether you are in search of fresh fruit, delicious wines, or simply to get out and enjoy what the seasons have to offer, Applewood has something for everyone. Click here for all the news and events coming up this year.
