Rotary Park Redevelopment
The City of Oshawa is looking for feedback from the community to determine public interest in these two independent options for the redevelopment of Rotary Park.
  • Option A – A new leisure pool, major splash pad and destination playground; or,
  • Option B – A combined major splash pad/ice rink and minor playground.
Feedback will be received until noon on Friday, August 20, 2021, and will be considered in a report to Community Services Committee in
September 2021.
Ed Broadbent Park Development
The City of Oshawa’s newest addition to the waterfront parks system is located at the southeast corner of Simcoe Street South and Harbour Road and named in recognition of political icon Ed Broadbent. Plans for the park include a Human Rights Garden in recognition of Mr. Broadbent as a champion and advocate for human rights, as well as passive recreational areas.
