The website highlights all tourism-related Canada 150 events and initiatives taking place in Durham Region in celebration of Canada’s 150th . Below is a guest post from Durham150.ca about an event that will be of interest to music lovers.**

There’s no better way to celebrate Canada 150 than with the sights and sounds of Canadian musical talent at the 2017 Scugog Summer Jam!

KX96 and 94.9 The Rock present the 2017 Scugog Summer Jam, taking place June 30 to July 2, at the Port Perry Fairgrounds.

On Friday, June 30, catch Big Wreck with special guests the Pick Brothers Band and The Bomb. Plus, Juno nominee Aaron Pritchett with special guests Brooklyn Roebuck and Marshall Dane will be featured on Saturday, July 1. On Sunday, July 2, local live entertainment will keep the party going.
