The City of Pickering is launching an exciting new initiative that seeks to ensure the lives of Pickering Residents are enriched by programs and services that support active and engaging activities in our community.  The City of Pickering will be exploring the opportunities of building more inclusive and accessible programs for Pickering residents.

The City of Pickering has developed a Free Mobile Skate Park with support from the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund. The City of Pickering is one of 668 sport and recreation organizations across the country to be provided with grant support, receiving $15,000 to assist with strategies to return to sport and recreation programming. We are grateful to Jumpstart and thrilled to offer this opportunity to our community.

The Mobile Skate Park will be available for Pickering residents ages 6+ to attend Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at various locations and times. Those attending will be required to bring their own skateboard and protective equipment.  Participation will be on a first come first serve basis, no registration is required.

Due to the current Provincial and Health Department guidelines, this program is only able to accommodate 25 participants at a time.  Prescreening will be required before the start of every program and maximum numbers will be adhered to. Participants will be required to wear a mask during the prescreening and check in portion of each program.
