Register a team or sign up as an individual to participate in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Durham Region Tournament.

On April 22 the puck drops for the inaugural Hockey Helps the Homeless event in Durham Region at the Delpark Homes Centre. Funds raised from this event will support Durham Youth Services. This tournament is a great opportunity for corporate team building. Each player receives the pro treatment while competing alongside a former National Hockey League or Olympic alumni athlete.

Durham Youth supports at-risk and homeless youth aged 16 to 24 in Durham Region. They offer young people a variety of supports including transitional and supportive housing, assistance negotiating the social service system, and helps meet their basic needs (food, shelter, hygiene). The organization also ensures their guests can access a number of other social programs designed to help get them back on their feet such as mental health counseling, life skills education, physician services and family reconnection.
