Have Your Say on New Playground Equipment for both Glenayr Park and DHillier Park
The Town of Whitby is working to replace the playground equipment at Glenayr Park, located at 55 William Stephenson Drive and they are seeking input from local residents.
From now through July 24, visit connectwhitby.ca/GlenayrParkto take a short survey about the type of playground equipment you would like to see. Keep in mind that the new playground equipment will need to fit within the existing layout and shape of the play areas.

The Town of Whitby is also seeking input on changes to DHillier Park, located at 99 McQuay Boulevard. From now through July 31, visit connectwhitby.ca/DHillierParkto take a short survey about the type of playground equipment and proposed park design.
Planned improvements to the park include:
- Replacing and redesigning the North playground area (closest to Resolute Crescent) with new equipment and surfacing
- Asphalt resurfacing of the existing parking lot and driveway
- Installing replacement LED lighting for tennis courts to meet usage demand
- General improvements around the playground areas including additional seating
Next Steps
Feedback gathered will be used to inform the new playground and park design. Construction is expected to begin later this year on both projects.
